Summer school information

Elementary School Criteria

Summer School is for intervention, not enrichment.  Elementary Summer School is open to students who have been retained, are recommended for retention, or at risk of retention. All English Learners are eligible. Applications were given to qualifying students. Summer School placement is on a first-come, first served basis for eligible students. Parents will be notified by letter whether their child has been accepted for Summer School.

Summer School is for intervention, not enrichment. Secondary Summer School is open to Grade 6-12 students who have been retained, recommended for retention, have not made satisfactory progress toward passing the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE), are at-risk of retention/academically deficient, seniors who do not have enough credits for graduation, or students in Grades 9-12 who do not have enough credits to be promoted to the next grade. Applications were given to eligible students. Summer School is on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible students. Parents will be notified by letter whether their child has been accepted for Summer School.
