Chevron Richmond Seeks WCCUSD High School Students for Summer Internship Program

Chevron Richmond is recruiting up to 10 WCCUSD high school students for their annual Project Seed internship program.

Project Seed is a paid 9-week internship at Chevron’s Richmond Technology Center, in partnership with the American Chemical Society.  Students will be assigned a Chevron mentor who will work alongside them every day on real research projects.

Each student must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Must qualify for free and reduced lunch
  • Have successfully passed chemistry
  • Have a letter of recommendation from their chemistry teacher
  • Be able to work a full 9-weeks in the summer – no exceptions

Students interested in applying can request an application from their high school chemistry teacher and submit a completed application by April 15. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
