Dear Parent:

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) met on June 28, 2004. The Committee made preliminary agreements on accepting a majority of the boundaries developed by our demographers to relieve overcrowding in the elementary attendance areas. Also discussed that evening were the middle school boundaries and the possibility of consolidating under-enrolled elementary schools.

The PAC voted to continue their discussions on Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at the Facilities Operations Center (FOC), located at 1300 Potrero Avenue in Richmond. The meeting will start promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Please join us as the PAC continues to progress towards redistricting. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, July 20.
