Omega High School is one of four Necessary Small Continuation Schools that serves the at-risk student population in the West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD). Omega is located in the city of Richmond in Contra Costa County, California. Omega students typically are deficient in the credits necessary for graduation and have a background of non-attendance. Omega provides these students with a personalized, individualized, and self-paced instructional program designed to fit their needs and facilitate a successful academic education experience. Omega has three teachers, a counselor, and a full-time on-site coordinator.

Omega was established in 1991 by the district in an effort to better serve the needs of students at-risk of dropping out of school. Omega has experienced a great deal of success as evidenced by the yearly improvements in the areas of attendance and the increasing number of graduating seniors. Please feel free to contact Omega Continuation High School's coordinator, Virginia Rohme,  at 510-215-3348 for further information about our program.  Be sure to view the school district's website at http://www.wccusd.k12.ca.us.
