Nystrom Magnet Elementary School will be a major contributor to the enrichment of the community and students it serves by promoting multicultural appreciation, closing the achievement gap and providing outstanding educational opportunities for all students. Nystrom Magnet Elementary School exists to reduce minority group isolation in our district schools, offering high quality, theme-oriented education that enhances academic skills and develops the whole child.
The Principal's focus is as follows: 1) Student and School Achievement; 2) Feedback Loop and Teacher Evaluation; 3) Open Court Implementation; 4) Program Alignment; 5) Developing Leadership Teams and Grade Level Teams; 6) Assessment of Students Special Services; 7) Parent Involvement; 8) Beautification; and 9) Student Leadership.
