Athletic Activities Regulations
Athletic Activities are voluntary programs. Student athlets should remember that they represent De Anza High School and the community and must follow the player code of conduct and have good sportsmanship.
All team members will abide by the following regulations:
- Abstain from the use of, or possession of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and any other drugs.
- Attend all games and practices unless excused by the coach.
- Abide by the school rules in the WCCUSD handbook at all times.
Suspended players will not play in games scheduled on the day of their suspension.
All players must maintain a 2.0 GPA. A player that is excused from participation in PE will not be allowed to participate in the game or practice on that day.
Players must be in school for at least 1/2 a day in order to be eligible to participate in practices or games.
Violations of these regulations may result in dismissal from the team.
Each student participating in athletics programs must have a parent code of conduct and student code of conduct signed by the student and parent.
Damaged equipment and/or uniforms must be replaced by the player's family.
