By 2005
1. 90% of third graders will score at or above the proficient level as measured by the Grade Three California Standards Test in English Language Arts, which includes reading and writing.
2. 100% of students will take and pass Algebra 1 by the end of Grade 10. By 2005, 90% of all Algebra 1 students will score at or above the proficient level, as measured by the California Standards Test in Algebra 1.
3. 50% of first time test takers will pass the English Language Arts and Math portions of the California High School Exit Examination .
4. 90% of African American and Latino students will score at or above the proficient level, as measured by the California Standards Test in English Language Arts.
5. 90% of African American and Latino students will score at or above the proficient level, as measured by the California Standards Test in Mathematics.
