The District Local Control Accountability Plan Parent Committee will meet three times during each calendar year, twice in the spring to review and advise the Board about the District's Local Control Accountability Plan and once in September to review data from the prior school year. The Superintendent (or designee) will provide support to the committee and will respond in writing to the committee report prior to the Board's public hearing on the LCAP. View meeting, agendas, and minutes here.
Members will serve for a two-year term except for the committee appointed in 2014. For that group, the superintendent will draw names from volunteers who would like to serve for a three year term to select 50% of the active members who will serve for the three years, 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17. Members serving for three years beginning in the 2014-15 school year will complete their term in September, 2016. Recruiting for new members will take place from October - December 2016.
