Speech and Language Teacher
1. Evaluate, diagnose, prepare/implement therapy programs for communication handicapped students.
2. Conduct IEP meetings to discuss learning/socialization impairments, recommendations and modifications.
3. Review student progress and adjust program as necessary.
4. Evaluate non-verbal students and recommend assistive devices.
5. Prepare communication boards/books.
6. Consult with other professionals.
7. Attend parent-teacher meetings.
8. Make testing referrals.
9. Coordinate annual State Testing activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech Pathology and relevant CA teaching certification, or eligibility for waiver of any credential not held.

Special Education Teacher-Severely Handicapped - Visually Handicapped
1. Provide age-appropriate functional educational program to students with special education (severely handicapped) needs in public school district.
Minimum Qualifications:
