Welcome back from a much deserved spring recess. As we usher in April and prepare for the final nine weeks of the school year, our students, their families, and our teachers are in the midst of testing. This is the third year that California students will take the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC), which measures our students’ academic progress in English Language Arts and mathematics.

For the seventh straight year, children from San Pablo received an early boost from Santa and San Pablo’s annual Family Giving Tree 2016 event on Tuesday, December 20, 2017. The event hosted by the city, WCCUSD, Bay Area Community Resources, and the YMCA of the East Bay’s Y-Team helped provide gifts to more than 400 students and their families from Bayview, Dover, Downer, Lake, and Riverside elementary schools and Helms Middle School.
