THURSDAY, APRIL 10
First day back
The first thing you see when you drive up to the school is a new sign that says "Temporary Office" and directs you to the left, towards the new entrance. It's hard to miss.

As of early this morning, the new phone system had been installed, with new phones in place in the main office and the counselors office. The new PA system is in, so two-way communication between the office and the classrooms has been established. The bell system has been installed and techs will be programming the bell schedule into the system today. One feature of that system is that the "bell" will now be a "tone" that will sound over the PA system and into each classroom.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9
Communications is the thing
Signs to show students and staff where the new classrooms and offices are located will be put up this late afternoon/early evening. The new phone system equipment arrived; techs are wiring and connecting the individual phones to the system and service panels. Workers are also wiring and installing the new PA and bell systems. Five copy machines arrived yesterday, and fax m
achines will be installed in the main office and the counselors' office.

Morning Update
This morning Principal Bell met with her staff to update them on tomorrow's reopening and coordinate all preparation for the big day. Superintendent Harter was on hand to welcome staff and answer questions. The Crespi social committee and United Teachers of Richmond provided a continental breakfast for all.

Crews continue to work on getting classrooms and offices ready for the re-opening of school tomorrow (Thursday). The new main entrance is the walkway between the 300 and 400 buildings. Click here for map. Of course, the 400 building, which sustained the damage, is sealed off and completely off limits. Tomorrow extra staff will be on campus to help redirect students to ensure their safety.
