THE WEST COUNTY LINKED LEARNING INITIATIVE
VISION:
The Academies of West Contra Costa Unified School District blend core academics, career-technical education (CTE), real-world experiences, and supportive relationships that produce civic-minded, college and career-ready graduates prepared for the competitive 21st Century global economy.
All Academy students complete the University of California/California State University a-g college preparatory sequence of courses and each Academy offers interdisciplinary, core academic classes in English, Social Studies, Science and/or Math within the Academy program of study. In addition, each Academy offers specialized CTE courses, many of which are also a-g courses.
